Immunizations

Vaccine-preventable diseases are at an all-time low, but this doesn't mean they have disappeared. Many viruses and bacteria are still circulating. This is why it is important for everyone to receive all the recommended immunizations on time.

Vaccines help your body recognize and fight these germs and protect you each time you come in contact with someone who is sick with any of these diseases.

  • Missouri students are required by law to receive childhood immunizations or file exemption forms.

  • Boonville Schools ask for proof of vaccination to be provided by families.

Two ways to submit the information:

  • Incoming 8th graders are required  to have Tdap and a meningococcal vaccine and provide proof prior to 8th grade.

Seniors are required to have the meningococcal vaccine and provide proof prior to the start of senior year. All students are eligible for this vaccine at age 16.
