Hi Pirate Families!

Here is this week's recap of learning and prizes! It was a FUN week!

Science  Students participated in science stations where they made elephant toothpaste, raced for baking soda and vinegar reactions, and even mixed Mentos with Coke. The students had a blast! Students also experimented with germs! They collected samples and watched the germs grow. 🦠 Math Students worked on order of operations this week. They did brain games and played Yahtzee to work on their math fluency.

FACS Students finished their consumer education unit and started Clothing: Fabrics and Laundry.  ELA This week in ELA students learned the 5 elements of a story and used a story mapping graphic organizer to begin planning out our own creative stories that we will write next week!

We also celebrated attendance (they each won a $10 giftcard to Wal-Mart) and students who are being safe, respectful, and responsible (they won fun treats) and our teacher of the week. Our attendance winners each won a $10 giftcard to Wal-Mart.

Band is only on Thursday and Friday next week. 
The pool is on Friday.
