Pirate Summer School
Boonville has several options for additional learning this summer through Summer School!
K-8:
Boonville Summer School 2026 will run from May 26 through June 19, 2026, and is open to students entering grades K–8. Summer school helps all students stay engaged, grow academically, and build confidence over the summer months.
Location: Students entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade will attend at Hannah Cole Primary from 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Students entering 4th through 8th grade will attend at Laura Speed Elliott Middle School from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Each day is structured to balance strong academic focus with hands-on opportunities and enrichment.
Learning: All students will receive instruction in reading, writing, math, and science, along with engaging electives including STEAM and sports.
Resources: Free breakfast and lunch will be provided daily, and limited bus transportation will be available upon request.
How and When to Sign Up: To guarantee placement, families should complete registration by April 10. Information confirming enrollment, teacher assignments, and final location details will be sent through ParentSquare in May.
High School:
Students entering grades 9-12 can participate in Summer School at BHS from May 26 to August 6.
Learning: These concentrated-format, one-credit classes can help students complete Health or Personal Finance credit requirements over the summer, or enroll for credit recovery.
