Welcome Back!

We are off to a great start to the second semester, and it has been exciting to see our students return focused, engaged, and ready to learn. As we look ahead, we are confident the remainder of the school year will bring continued growth, achievement, and opportunities for success both inside and outside the classroom. Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership as we work together to make this a strong and positive semester for all Pirates.

Positive Pirates

The holiday season put us a bit behind on our Positive Pirate recognitions, but that certainly does not mean our Pirates haven’t been taking care of business! Here are a few more students who have been making a difference in our halls and classrooms.
Bailey/Jackson

Corbin Jackson

Corbin was nominated by Mr. Bailey for going out of his way to help a fellow student. Thanks, Corbin for your leadership and service!
Simpson/Schafer

Caden Schafer

Caden was nominated by Coach Simpson for his continued improvement, preparedness, and willingness to participate in class activities. Thank you, Caden!
Hollomon

Draco Barbarotta & Jace McKinney

Jace and Draco deserve recognition in how much they have improved their food labs. During our most recent lab, they made homemade Alfredo and their dish not only turned out delicious, but they worked so well together managing their time. One of the reasons they have seen so much success, is that they are respectful in their communication and they have a desire to learn skills that will help them in life.
Hundley/Hamblin

Joseph Hamblin

Joseph was nominated by Mrs. Hundley for his exceptional work ethic and willingness to actively participate in class. Thanks, Joseph for setting an example for your peers!
Katie Pefferman

Katie Pefferman

Katie was nominated by Mrs. Smith for going out of her way to make a student feel welcome. She consistently embodies the spirit of a Positive Pirate through her kindness and willingness to support others.
Austin Gately

Austin Gately

Austin was nominated by Mrs. Brimer for making good choices and staying engaged in content. Austin continues to show consistent improvement in the classroom. Thanks, Austin!
