Thank you!

Thank you for the hard work, dedication, and continued support you show our school each and every day. Our students’ commitment to learning and growth, combined with the partnership and encouragement from our families, makes Boonville High School a truly special place. We are proud of the effort our students put forth in the classroom, in activities, and in our community, and we are grateful for the trust and support of our parents and guardians. Together, we will continue to build a positive, successful environment where all Pirates can thrive.
As we look ahead to the upcoming weather, we encourage everyone to take care, stay safe, and keep warm. Thank you again for being an essential part of our BHS family.

AMI Info

Pirate Families,

With winter weather season upon us, the purpose of this communication is to inform families on Alternate Method of Instruction (AMI) procedures should the district choose to utilize these days. Announcements about weather-related school closures will be shared via Parent Square, Facebook, and on local news stations.

Here are some important things for you to know about AMI learning at BHS/BTEC:

  • Teachers will push out all required assignments via Google Classroom. Students are required to log in and complete these assignments for a grade as well as their AMI attendance. The nature of these assignments will be:
  • A lesson or activity that reinforces review content
  • An assignment that can be completed independently
  • A way for students to check their understanding (self-assessment, discussion board, or formative check)
  • An assignment that can be completed and submitted by the next in-seat day
  • Teachers will be available by email and Parent Square from 8am-3pm to support students

If internet access is not readily available, please have your student inform their teachers as soon as possible.

Please reach out with any questions.

Sincerely,
Dr. Brent Hodge, BHS Principal
Adam Arnette, BHS Assistant Principal
Paul Moore, BTEC Director
