Enrollment and Registration

New Families:

Welcome to Boonville Schools!

New students in Boonville Schools need to complete two processes:

  • Enrollment- Provide documentation and sign up to become enrolled in the Boonville R-1 School District.
  • Registration- Sign up for classes and provide other necessary student and family information for your student's school.


Families may enroll students by visiting their student's school building beginning on August 1 with residence documentation. Full enrollment instructions are available here.

  • To enroll, the Boonville School District requests two proofs of residency. These documents should contain the parent/guardian's name and address. See below.
  1. Current real estate tax receipt, mortgage statement, deed or signed lease AND
  2. One other proof of residency such as: current unpaid utility bill, credit card statement, employer's record of address, bank statement, or governmental acknowledgment of address (i.e., Social Security, voter registration, etc.)

You may email these documents to your student's school building or you may bring these in person to your school building during business hours. If you do not have the requested documentation or do not rent or own property, please contact your building office for further instructions.


Please visit the Parent Portal, our online student system.  Click on the Parent tab and then click the Register New Family link.

After you are registered on Parent Portal, continue the process by following the instructions for returning students.

Returning Families:

Welcome back! Registration for all schools will be completed online through Parent Portal for 2022-23. If you do not have access to a device that complete online registration, your child's school can help. Online registration is open for all district students and grade levels.

Registration instructions:

  •  Log into your Parent Portal account.
  •  Click the word VIEW in the yellow heading that says "Online Registration must be completed for 2022-23"
  •  Complete the family forms, followed by the students forms for each student you have enrolled. **If you have a new student to enroll, click the + Add Student button on the bottom of the Student Information Form.  Once all forms are complete, a message will display asking if the forms should be submitted now. Click ok. You will then receive an email when the forms have been accepted by office staff or if changes need to be made.

If you plan for your student to ride a school bus, you will need to request transportation in Online Registration by August 1, 2022.  If you cannot meet this deadline, you will need to contact First Student Transportation at 660-882-7421 to make arrangements.
